A national memorial for all American war dead, Cathedral of the Pine's Altar of the Nation is comprised of stones donated as tributes from all United States Presidents since and including Harry Truman. It also contains stones from each of the fifty states and four territories and from the Commanding Officers of America's Armed Forces, all incorporated into an Altar that symbolizes the unity and strength of grateful people.The Memorial Bell Tower honors all American women who served in wartime. Hilltop House has state and foreign flags, war relics and art objects. A museum houses war memorabilia from 1775 to the Persian Gulf War and a pathway leads to two gardens as well as two additional chapels.
