Carroll County, near the border of Maine, in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
The town is close to Balch Pond, Great East Lake, and Lovell Lake. A further drive will bring the visitor to Lake Winnipesaukee where there are many attractions, including Surf Coaster and taking a cruise with Mount Washington Cruises.
