Chester College of New England |
At Chester College of New England, majors are offered that focus on the visual or language arts. A major in General Studies is also available that allows a student to build on the foundation courses that are offered to all students. Chester College offers a 4-year Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography & Media Arts, Studio Art, Graphic Design/Illustration and Professional and Creative Writing, as well as a 2-year Associate of Art in Liberal Studies.
The College is located in Chester, New Hampshire, in a natural New England setting yet close to three cities rich in history and culture: Manchester, Portsmouth, and Boston.
The enrollment here is very small, by design. The student/teacher ratio is ten to one; in all of the classes a person will receive individual instruction. Everyone on campus will know each other: the professors, the students, and the staff, even the President of the College. In an environment such as this, it is impossible to be invisible. Everyone is important.
