Lake Francis State Park

The campground at Lake Francis State Park is open from early May to early December. Each campsite has a fireplace, picnic table, flat area for a tent and a parking space. Five of the campground's forty-one sites are walk-in. They are situated near the river, have tent platforms and are about a two-minute walk from the parking area. Running water, flush toilets, and a dump station are centrally located in the campground. Late fall campers should be aware that there is no running water in the campground from mid-October for the remainder of the season. A boat launch is located in the day-use area of the park. Fishing and canoeing are popular activities.
