The Township of Bedminster is in
Somerset County, in the
Skylands Region. Several villages making up the township are Pluckemin and Pottersville, and are linked by a growing Hike & Bike Trail System. The trail is planned to connect The Hills community to most of the other amenities in the Township.
Bedminster was named for a community that was previously in England. The U.S. Equestrian Team began training in 1950 here.
