Belvidere is located on the east bank of the Delaware River at the Pennsylvania border, in Warren County (of which it is the county seat), and in the Skylands Region. Belvidere is part of the Newark, New Jersey metro area. To the north are the BASF Industrial Complex and the Roche Industrial Complex. The Apple Mountain Golf Club is three miles southeast.
