Bernardsville

Bernardsville is a well-to-do community located in Somerset County, in the Skylands Region, at the junction of US Highway 202 and state highway 525, near the Passaic River, and one mile west of I-287. Bernardsville is part of the Middlesex-Somerset-Hunterdon, New Jersey metro area.

It is named after Gov. Francis Bernard. Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis was a past resident.

The Somerset Hills Country Club is nearby, as is the Scherman-Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary.
