The Borough of Dumont is in
Bergen County, in the
Gateway Region. Dumont is a small community in a densely populated area of small communities near the eastern state border, at the
Hudson River opposite
Yonkers. It is close to the towns of
New Milford,
Bergenfield and
River Edge. Nearby are the Oradell Reservoir, Tenakill Brook, Mollicone Park, Alpine Country Club, and Montammy Golf Club.
