Englewood is located in Bergen County, in the Gateway Region, north of Jersey City between Bergenfield and the Hudson River along State Route 505 near the Hackensack River. Situated just west of the New York state line, Englewood is close to Fairleigh Dickinson University. Englewood is part of the Bergen-Passaic, New Jersey metro area.
