The city of Garfield is in
Bergen County, in
Gateway Region. The city is in the heart of the densely populated eastern New Jersey, the transportational infrastructure of roads and highways focusing east towards
New York City. I-80, US 46 and the Garden State Parkway, as well as the
Passaic River, meet at Garfield.
Neighboring towns are Lodi, Elmwood Park, Clifton and Passaic. In this vicinity are Pulaski Park, Third Ward Park, Weasel Brook Park, Nash Park and Upper Montclair Country Club.
