The science center presents hundreds of interactive exhibits, theater shows and displays on four levels. An 11-ton geodesic dome houses one of the nation's largest IMAX theaters, and a tower capped with a glass observation deck provides a view of the Manhattan skyline. Exhibits are divided into three categories -- Environment, Health, and Invention -- each with its own floor. Scientific demonstrations are presented throughout the day; food is available. Open daily 9:30am-5:30pm, April 1- Labor Day; Tuesday-Sunday 9:30am-5:30pm the rest of the year. Children under 12 must be with an adult.
