The Borough of Manville is located in Somerset County, in the Skylands Region, and is part of the Middlesex-Somerset-Hunterdon, New Jersey metropolitan area. Manville is located on State Highway 533 alongside the Raritan River. Northwest of New Brunswick, it is near Somerville, and I-287.
