The Marine Mammal Stranding Center, a short drive from the Atlantic City Casinos, is devoted to the rescue and rehabilitation of stranded or distressed marine mammals that come ashore along the New Jersey coast. Whales, dolphins, seals and sea turtles are among the animals the center has assisted. Displays are offered at the Sea Life Educational Center, and rescued sea animals may be viewed in observation tanks. Phone or consult website for hours.
