Newark Museum

This is a four-building structure with 60,000 square feet of exhibit space. The museum has American paintings and sculpture, decorative arts including glass and ceramics, American Indian and African articles, ancient glass, a sculpture garden, a miniature zoo and a planetarium. An Asian display includes an extensive collection of Tibetan art and objects. The museum garden contains a firehouse and schoolhouse. Admission is free.
