This is the only surviving British colonial barracks in the U.S. Constructed in 1758, it was occupied at various times by British, Hessian and Continental troops, as well as by Loyalist refugees. This cultural history museum includes a restored officers' quarters with 18th century furnishings, and permanent and changing exhibits. The history laboratory provides interactive experiences.
