Ramsey is located in Bergen County, north of Mahwah, Allendale and Fair Lawn, along Highway 17 and the New Jersey Transit, and near the New York state line. Nearby are Ramapo College of New Jersey and Alphonsus College. Ramsey is part of the Bergen-Passaic, New Jersey metro area.
