Renault Winery is one of the oldest continuously operating wineries in the United States. In 1864, Louis Nicholas Renault purchased land in the Egg Harbor area for the Renault vineyard. By 1870 he had introduced his New Jersey Champagne. This historic winery offers a tour of such exhibits as a priceless champagne & wine glass collection dating back to medieval times and a private collection of antique winemaking equipment. Visitors can also view the pressing room where the wines are made. The tour continues to the Wine Tasting Emporium where visitors have the opportunity to sample award winning wine and champagne selections. A full dining menu is available in the Renault Gourmet Restaurant.
