The Township of Teaneck is in Bergen County just northeast of Hackensack, between Bergenfield and Englewood, along Highway 505 on the banks of the Hackensack River near Manhattan and the Hudson River. Nearby are Fairleigh Dickinson University, Maywood, and Bogota.
