The City of Union City is in Hudson County. This heavily populated area is located at the banks of the Hudson River state line. I-495 crosses the city on its way to Manhattan via the Lincoln Tunnel. Nearby are Hoboken, Stevens Institute of Technology, Weehawken, and St. Michael's Monastery.
