A tour of these districts reveals the city's oldest homes - early adobe structures built in the traditional Spanish style, some more than 150 years old. The structures are located south and west of the Plaza on New Mexico Ave, South Pacific Street, South Gonzales Street and their adjacent side streets. Those interested in historic architecture will appreciate the homes at 1214 and 1216 South Pacific Street (built in the traditional style with the rear side facing the street), and one block west of the Plaza, the beautiful Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
