Crownpoint Institute of Technology is located on the eastern edge of the Navajo Nation in Crownpoint, McKinley County, NM. CIT's campus is designed to blend in with the Chaco Canyon area's mesas and plateaus.Originally named the Navajo Skill Center, Crownpoint today is widely recognized as a top Voc-Tech Institution. Associates Degrees are awarded in the fields of: Accounting; Administraive Assistant; Applied Computer Technology; Environmental Technology and Natural Resources; Law Advocate; Legal Assistant and Veterinary Technician. In addition, Certificates are awarded for successful completion of: Automotive Technology; Building Maintenance; Carpentry; Commercial Driver License; Culinary Arts; Early Childhood Development; Electrical Trades; Nursing Assistant or Small Business Development. Total enrollment is about 340 and student housing is available for 110.
