Jemez Springs is in Sandoval County, and in the Central New Mexico region. You can find Jemez Springs north of Albuquerque between Los Alamos and San Ysidro along Highway 4 near the Jemez and Zia Indian Reservations. Jemez Springs is part of the Albuquerque, New Mexico metro area. In 1995 Jemez Springs, New Mexico was selected by the National Civic League as an All American City in recognition of its citizens' cooperative efforts to make their lives a higher quality. Secluded within a beautiful tree shaded valley lies art restaurant, galleries and multiple lodgings opportunities, including several bed and breakfasts, a small inn, cabins and a motel. Natural hot springs, camping and fishing, hiking are favorite activities enjoyed by visitors and residents, as well as Native American festivals and dances in nearby pueblos.
