The La Chiripada Winery was established in 1977, and the name La Chiripada (meaning "a stroke of luck") was adopted from the original ranch where the winery is located. Visitors are invited to visit the tasting rooms located at the winery in Dixon, as well as their store in the Taos Plaza, to sample the award-winning wines and browse the family-produced art and pottery.
