Tucked away on 178 acres adjacent to the Gila National Forest, Bear Mountain Lodge is an exquisitely renovated 1920s hacienda owned and operated by The Nature Conservancy. The lodge offers eleven luxuriously furnished rooms that are located in three separate buildings -the Lodge, Myra's Retreat and the Wren's Nest. All rooms feature hardwood floors, handcrafted mission-style furnishings, and private bathrooms with blue and white ceramic block tile and 1920s-style fixtures. A delicious, home cooked breakfast is included in the room rate, and dinner and bag lunches are also available for a small fee.
