Spring River Park and Zoo
36 Acre Zoo

The Spring River Park and Zoo exhibits 25 animal species. Also occupying the 36 acre zoo are a wintering Canada goose flock, wooden-horse carrousel, miniature train ride, children's fishing lake and picnic facilities. Located 1 mile north on College blvd. and Atkinson rd. off Hwy 70 and Hwy 285. Open daily 10-8, mid-April through Labor Day; 10-6:30, March 1 to mid-April; 10-5:30, rest of year. Closed Dec.25. Admission is Free; rides 25 cents.
