Just minutes from the heart of Albuquerque, the world's longest aerial tramway lifts you to the breathtaking top of Sandia Peak. Sandia Peak offers 200 total skiable acres; Snowmaking exists on 30 acres of trails. The vertical drop is approximately 1,700 feet. Nestled at the base of the ski area is the Double Eagle II Day Lodge, a large attractive facility with panoramic views of the ski area as well as the Estancia Valley to the east. Facilities include: ticket office, skiers cafe, restrooms, Wintermill Ski Shop, and Skier Information Center.
