The St. James is a place of quiet elegance and charm, fine food and drink, friendly and attentive service. The hotel has been renovated to its original 1870's splendor. Located in the scenic foothills of the majestic Sangre de Cristo mountains of northeastern New Mexico. Built in 1873 by a frenchman, Henni Lambert. Lambert was the personal chef to president Abraham Lincoln and General Ulysses S. Grant.
