Rare collection of firefighting equipment and memorabilia, including one of Canada's oldest steam pumpers, an 1863 Amoskeag; examples of almost every kind of fire engine ever used in Nova Scotia; and many smaller items such as antique fire engines. Open year-round: June-Sept, Mon-Sat 9am-5pm (to 9pm in July and Aug); off-season Mon-Fri 9am-4pm, Sat 1-4pm. Gift shop, public washrooms, bus tours welcome. Non-smoking. Wheelchair accessible.
