Joggins Fossil Centre

On Main St Rte 302 from Amherst, Rte 242 at Maccan to Joggins. The Centre features the world's largest collection of 300-million-year-old 'Joggins Fossils' as well as exhibits of trilobites, brachiopods, bivalves, gastropods and fish fossils from around the world. Local fossil identification available. Open June through Sept, 9am-5:30pm (May and Oct by appointment). Admission: $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for seniors, and $3.00 for students under 18.
