A wave of water that moves upstream against the current. Popular spots for watching the tidal bore are: Salmon River, outside Truro; Caddell Rapids Lookoff; Maccan and River Hebert, Rte 242 to bridges, where signs indicate bore times; Tidal View Farm (see Evangeline Trail); Maitland at Gosse Bridge; or Urbania at Tidal Bore Park.
