Caliente

Caliente, named for the hot springs orginally found in the area, is near several state parks, including Beaver Dam State Park, Cathedral Gorge State Park, Echo Canyon State Park, and Kershaw-Ryan State Park in the South Central Region. State Route 93 runs right by Caliente.

Name derives from Spanish for "hot".
