State Route 395 takes you right to Gardnerville, which sits beside
Minden and the East Fork of the Carson River in the
Western Region of the state.
It was named for John M. and Mary Gardner, homesteaders. Gardnerville was developed as a supply center for the farming community and teamsters hauling produce to Bodie.
