Sierra Nevada College

Sierra Nevada College is located in Incline Village, Washoe County, NV, and has an enrollment of about 460. Student housing is available for about 150.

An ambitous new $100 million campus broke ground in 1995 on 18 acres about two miles from the shores of Lake Tahoe with a completion date set for about 2010.

Academically, Baccalaureate degrees are offered in five departments: Business Administration (with Concentrations in: Entrepreneurship and Hotel, Restaurant and Resort Management and "Ski Business"); Fine Arts (Ceramics, Digital Art, Painting and Drawing and Photography); Humanities and Social Science (English and Literature, History and Psychology); International Studies (Indigenous Peoples and Pacific Rim) and Science & Technology (Biology, Computer Science and Environmental Science and Ecology).

SNC also has a post-baccalaureate fifth-year teacher certification for Nevada and California.

Athletic scholarships are given in various sports.
