This state historic park contains remnants of the original adobe fort by the first Mormon settlers along Las Vegas Creek in 1855. The fort serves as a visitor center with interpretive displays. Future park development will include the re-creation of many historic features, which is the focus of the park, as well as a full scale visitor center. The park is located in downtown Las Vegas, at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Washington Avenue.
