This fascinating museum displays more than 1,000 objects reflecting Brooklyn's exciting history. Permanent exhibit areas cover The Brooklyn Bridge, Coney Island, Brooklynites, The Brooklyn Navy Yard, and The Brooklyn Dodgers. Here visitors will find such items as a gigantic eagle that adorned the offices of a famous newspaper and a wheel used to spin the cables of the Brooklyn Bridge. 18th-century furniture, paintings, prints, photographs and other memorabilia bring Brooklyn's history to life.
