Located in the former Andrew Carnegie Mansion, its collection includes more than 250,000 decorative arts objects spanning centuries. The museum is devoted exclusively to the study of historical and contemporary design. The museum features applied arts and industrial design, drawings and prints, textiles, and wallcoverings.
