East Aurora is located in
Erie County just SE of
Buffalo along Highway 78 and in the
Western Region of the state. East Aurora is home to Roycroft Campus, an art community founded in 1895 by Elbert Hubbard, a former salesman and marketing genius turned artist, writer, publisher and craftsman. Hubbard, a leader in the American Arts and Crafts movement, went on to design a simple, straight-line style of furniture that remains popular. East Aurora is part of the
