Lake Luzerne is located in
Warren County 17 miles west of
Glens Falls along Highway 9N near Hidden Valley Ski Area in the
Northern Region of the state. Lake Luzerne is part of the
Glens Falls, New York metro area.
It was once a center for the manufacture of bookbinders' leather. The industry waned with the decline of hemlock bark in the tanning process.
