The last encampment of the Continental Army where 7,000 troops with 500 women and children turned 1,600 acres of forest and meadows into a military enclave or "cantonment" and remained from October, 1782 to June, 1783. Costumed interpreters demonstr ate musket and artillery drills, woodworking and blacksmithing.
