Port Washington

Port Washington is located in Nassau County and is part of the Nassau-Suffolk, New York metropolitan area.It was named in the president's honor after he visited nearby Roslyn in 1790. Once a sand-mining center; oyster farming began in the mid-19th century. It was the filming location for 2000 movie, "Meet the Parents".
