Saint Patrick's, the seat of the archbishop of New York was built in the style of Gothic ecclesiastical architecture which prevailed in Europe from 1275 to 1400. It is one of the largest cathedrals in the US, with 2,400 capacity. Its rose window is 26 feet across, and the pipe organ has more than 7,380 pipes. Twin spires 330 feet high span the heights of the 14th century Gothic style structure. Guided tours are available.
