Founded in 1946, this school is part of the State University of
New York System. The public institution offers programs through the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences and the schools of education and human development, nursing, management, and engineering and applied science. There are 5 undergraduate schools and 1 graduate school. The 606 acre campus is in a suburban area 1 mile west of
Binghamton. Including residence halls there are 62 buildings.
