In 1995, the Temple, founded in 1845 and now the largest Reform congregation in the world, housed in the largest synagogue in the world, marked its sesquicentennial anniversary. Throughout the Temple's 150 years, its members have served as the finest examples of what the Jew in America could strive to be. The present sanctuary's archetecture, built in 1927, includes mosaics, and stained-glass windows. Festivals, services and a community programs.
