Watkins Glen

Watkins Glen is located in Schuyler County 21 miles north of Elmira between Monyour Falls and Lakemont along Highway 14 in the Western Region of the state. At the southern tip of Seneca Lake, Watkins Glen is renowned for its summer auto racing at Watkins Glen International. Long before the roar of cars, this small town's most notable features were the nearby salt wells, which made this region one of the state's major salt producers.

Several wineries are located in the area as well.
