This 350-acre wildlife sanctuary is located at Englewood Dam and includes a nature center and an educational farm. The Center is the place where many visits start. The Discovery Room with more than 50 hands-on exhibits and the administrative offices are located here. Visitors can begin walks on five miles of hiking trails here. Around the building are special plantings of prairie and woodland wildflowers. There is also a butterfly - hummingbird garden. The Gift and Book Store at the Center has a wide supply of books and bird related merchandise.
