Boardman is located in northeastern Ohio in central Mahoning County about 2 miles south of Youngstown. Nearby outdoor recreation is centered in and around Meander Creek Reservoir about 10 miles to the northwest. In addition, golfers will enjoy there outings to Mill Creek Park Golf Course-South and Mill Creek Park Golf Course-North.
