Located on Horseshoe Bend Road, this 165 acre nature preserve consists of a swamp, prairie, pine forest, flood plain, hardwood forest and the Stillwater River. Featured are 6 miles of hiking trails, an amphitheater on a pond, and an interpretive building housing displays about area flora and fauna. A restored 1804 log house is open for viewing. Open Monday through Saturday 9am-5pm and sunday 12:30pm-5pm; trails are open daily dawn through dusk. Buildings are closed on major holidays.
