Carillon Historical Park

Located on Carillon Blvd., this park contains exhibits that trace the inventive, trasportation and pioneer history of the Miami Valley. The Wright brothers' original 1905 airplane, the Wright Flyer III, is housed in Wright Hall and forms one of the units of Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park. Other buildings showcase locally made automobiles, bicycles and rail cars, including a 1903 mahogany-paneled parlor car. Other exhibits include a 1796 tavern, a lock of the Miami-Erie Canal, two early bridges and a working 1930s print shop.

Operating hours: Tuesday-Saturday 9:30-5:00 Sundays and holidays 12:00-5:00

Admission: $5.00 per adult $4.00 per senior $3.00 per student 3-17 Children under 3 and members are admitted free.
