Clinton is located in northeastern Ohio in the southwest corner of
Summit County about 15 miles south-southwest of downtown
Akron on the banks of the
Tuscarawas River.
Outdoor recreation can be found at the Portage Lakes, Portage Lakes State Park and Nimisila Reservoir about 5 miles northeast of town. In addition, several lakes and rivers are within 30 minutes drive time.
For those that enjoy shooting a round of golf, the town offers Spring Hills Golf Club, a public 18-hole facility.
