Conneaut is located in northeastern Ohio in
Ashtabula County about 60 miles northeast of
Cleveland on the shores of
Lake Erie. It is Ohio's northeasternmost population center. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 12,836, a decrease of 405 since 1990.
Golfers have a choice between Windy Hill Golf Course, a public 18-hole course and Conneaut Shores Golf Course, a semi-private 9-hole course which has an open guest policy.
